Weekly Update 5
This week brings a pretty big update: Mini Bosses. Currently there is only one boss, who shows up to challenge you when the Void is below 150 health. I had two main goals with adding more bosses to the game, the first was to make the decision of "hit enemies or hit Void" more interesting, hitting the Void is how you win the game, but now you just concentrate on the Void, Queen Orla will show up and kill you. On the other hand, taking out enemies will get you loot to upgrade your deck, but if you take too long to kill the void more and more enemies will slowly start whittling you down. The second goal was to enhance the narrative arc of gameplay by building to a point of tension in the middle. Expect to see more variety in bosses coming soon!
Other than mini bosses, I gave Mora and the Void health bars, added a bunch of new cards, and reorganized my code to make it easier to add new cards that do new and interesting things.
